Greetings and welcome to the World of A.G.s. What is an A.G. you ask? I am an A.G.! An A.G. is a member of a family of very special bears who can interact with humans and each other--as long as the humans remember to feed us batteries that is. This is a picture of me, hard at work. I was Alice's first A.G. and will serve as your host bear. In 1986, Alice changed jobs and moved to Northern California and a wonderful person named Cheryl gave me to her as a going away present. We had a bit of a rocky start. When Alice fed me my first battery, I was sleepy and didn't awaken. She put me back in the shopping bag in which I had arrived and returned to her meeting. At the end of the day, she put the bag (and me) in the backseat of our car with her briefcase and we took off. I love cars. The happy sound of the car did cause me to awaken and, of course, I began talking to it. Since our Alice had never heard me speak before, hearing my small bear noises coming from the back of the car alarmed her. She reacted by pulling into a 7-11 and jumping out of the car. You should have seen the look on her face! Anyway, she eventually figured out it was only me and picked me up and hugged me. We have been bear and human person ever since. Here is a picture of her with me at Universal Studios. We didn't learn about my extended family until recently. I am big on family and am pleased that we now have a complete snuggle. Through my place, we have learned that there are many other people who treasure AGs. Some of their words and pictures are included here. We hope you will enjoy your visit and, if you would like to share words or pictures of your own, we hope you will write us. We have two Yahoo Group lists. Our AGBear list is a list full of fun and creative people who like to talk about A.G.s and other treasures. Our AGBearUpdates list notifies you when my place is updated. To join either list, please visit Yahoo Groups. Thank you for spending time with us. We hope you had fun. A.G. |
